Types of Energy

When speaking about Alternative and Solar Energy, the different Types of Energy for your home play an important role.

For the sake of this discussion, for us the question about the different energy types leads to the discussion how Energy is "created" for our us and how can the different forms be used or stored.

On the one hand, energy is there in different "forms", like radiation, electricity, wind or solar.

So the question is if and how can we make these potentials usable for us.

On the other hand these Energies have different risks and can or cannot be applied locally - at your home. I am sure you wouldn't be happy about a nuclear reactor in your attic, would you?

So one of the most basic of the different types of energy is Chemical Energy. Chemical Energy is like stored Energy. If you add the right substance - a catalyst and reactant - you will see a lot of energy in action.

So Chemical Energy can be a good way to store energy for later use. The Solar Hydrogen Generators extract the Hydrogen from Water. This Hydrogen now has a high Chemical (potential) energy.
