Hydrogen Car Kit

Can conventional cars go green with a Hydrogen Car Kit?

There are many companies offering Hydrogen Kits to turn older cars into Hydrogen Powered Vehicles.

In the 1970 it was found that by adding OxyHydrogen (HHO - also called Brown's Gas) into the fuel the burning process runs more efficiently.

There are actually on a lot of videos on youtube how to do this, but I would never try this myself. Much too dangerous and there are a lot of legal and warranty issues around this.

One interesting company is from Portugal called HHO Plus and they do ship worldwide. They claim that the car saves up to 30% of gasoline - the older the car, the better.

That's good news for my inherited Mercedes 260E, which consumes 11,1l/100km ... pretty expensive these days, and getting worse.

They give a one-year warranty and are sure that their technology is even safer - because it is an on-demand production of Hydrogen - than models with pressurized gas tanks.

What I always wonder about is 'Why do carmakers not use this cheap technology?'

I am sure Apple, as a highly innovate company, would use the innovation and the innovative image of such an invention. If Apple were in the car making.

So I actually just read that Apple is investing in Solar Energy technology to gain an advantage over the crowd, gain in public image and be even more innovative.

This is how winners behave. Oh, and just to let you know, I am no Apple affiliate, I am typing this on a Sony with Windows :)

But back to the Hydrogen Car Kit. I am thinking about buying it for my Mercedes and will keep you posted. Perhaps I will become an affiliate.
